EFFORTS to encourage carbon pricing were immediately to the fore this week as nearly 150 world leaders flew into Paris for the start of United Nations climate talks that aim at reaching a global agreement to avert disastrous climate change.
Political leaders queued up to assert to the COP 21 gathering their commitment to policies that aim to keep temperature rises below 2 degrees Celsius.
