Australian player Karoon Gas is looking at the possibility of bringing forward one of the three development wells it is planning to drill on Brazil’s Echidna development, recently renamed as Neon and Neon Sul following a declaration of commerciality, writes Gareth Chetwynd.
The three-well drilling campaign for this Santos basin midwater development has been slated for 2021, but there is a possibility that a slot will become available for using the moored semi-submersible rig Atlantic Star.
