McCollum’s departure from Halliburton, where he was chief financial officer, is effective immediately, and he will start work as Weatherford’s chief executive in April.
Halliburton named executive vice president and general counsel Robb Voyles to act as interim CFO until a permanent replacement is found. McCollum will succeed Krishna Shivram, who stepped in as interim chief executive following Bernard Duroc-Danner’s November departure.
