The co-owners of the large Xanadu oil exploration prospect in Western Australia have brought forward the planned spud date to 5 September 2017.
Xanadu is the largest untested oil prospect in the northern Perth basin at 160 million barrels of oil on a recoverable basis.
The Enerdrill Rig-3 is on location, and the well will be drilled onshore to an offshore target.
