Norwegian operator Statoil is reshuffling parts of its top management and business units, writes Beate Schjolberg.
Statoil’s growing activities in Brazil will become a separate business area under executive vice president Margareth Ovrum, Statoil’s current executive vice president in charge of technology, projects and drilling.
Ovrum will be succeeded by the current country manager for Brazil, Anders Opedal, who joins Statoil’s corporate executive committee.
