US shale player Halcon Resources has named Richard Little as its chief executive, filling a position that has been vacant since Floyd Wilson resigned in February amid shareholder pressure.
Little was more recently the chief executive at privately owned Ajax Resources, which was acquired by shale giant Diamondback Energy last year in a $1.25 billion deal. He is a petroleum engineer with 23 years of experience in the industry, starting as a completions engineer for energy services player Halliburton.
