Noble said the Dalit discovery, which had a pre-drill reserves number of about 700 billion cubic feet, lies in the Michal licence about 48 kilometres off Hadera in 4500 feet of water.
The wildcat, drilled by Atwood Oceanic semi-submersible Atwood Hunter, was drilled to a depth of 12,000 feet with formation logs identifying more than 110 feet of net pay in a high-quality reservoir, said Noble.
