Premrutai Vinaiphat, director general of Thailand’s Department of Mineral Fuels, will be transferred to the Ministry of Energy in the wake of an unresolved decommissioning expenses dispute with companies including national upstream company PTTEP and US supermajor Chevron.
Saruwat Kaewtathip, the ministry’s deputy permanent secretary, will replace her as boss of regulator DMF, reported the Bangkok Post.
The start date of his new appointment has yet to be formally announced.
