Indonesia’s Jaya Samudra Karunia Shipping (JSK) will soon replace a liquefied natural gas vessel that has been used for storage purposes with a new floating storage and regasification unit to supply LNG to a power plant in Bali off Indonesia, writes Xu Yihe.
Singaporean contractor PaxOcean formally christened the FSRU at its facilities in Zhoushan island in China’s Zhejiang province this week and is on track to deliver the unit to JSK later this year, possibly by October.
