Private equity-backed Neptune Energy is drilling ahead on an exploration well that if successful will add new production to its Cygnus gas development in the UK southern North Sea, writes Rob Watts.
“In October we... spudded the Cygnus (Fault Block 9) exploration well. Drilling continues on... with the aim of adding production in the mid-term to the existing Cygnus infrastructure,” Neptune said as it reported interim results last week.
