London-headquartered NewAge LNG aims to “develop a standalone and sustainable LNG business”, according to the company, “and will take sole responsibility for progressing any business opportunity up to final investment decision.”

Three project companies — which will execute and operate developments after final investment decisions — have been set up to handle floating liquefied natural gas monetisation possibilities in Congo-Brazzaville (CBLNG), Cameroon (CMLNG) and Nigeria (NGLNG), where NewAge either operates or is a partner in assets with sizeable volumes of gas.
