Eastern Canada’s offshore oil industry is showing resilience at a time when the rest of North America is suffering from low oil prices.

From Statoil Canada proceeding full-tilt with its drilling plans on the large Bay du Nord oil discovery to ExxonMobil striving to meet its 2017 production target for the much-anticipated Hebron oil project, the province of Newfoundland & Labrador is experiencing an increase in activity while other markets have been suffering.
