Chinese-owned operator Nexen Petroleum has gone back to the drawing board to re-think phase two of its prolific Buzzard development off the UK.
The exact reasons for the decision remain unclear, although several industry sources told Upstream the partnership, which includes Suncor Energy and BG Group, wants to explore cheaper solutions to the one that has been worked on so far.
