Industry recruiters The Curzon Partnership say their data shows country managers stationed overseas in Nigeria can earn up to £290,000 ($460,305), representing in some cases a higher pay than their chief executives at home.
This country premium puts the African state ahead of Iraqi Kurdistan and Libya, which both offer a 30% salary premium to general managers for an average total pay of £234,000.
