Nimblefoot-1 is third hit for Hess

Hess said the Nimblefoot-1 exploration well hit 28 metres of net gas pay, and was drilled in a water depth of 1115 metres by the semi-submersible rig Jack Bates.

Nimblefoot-1 is the third of four initial exploration wells in WA-390-P, owned 100% by Hess.

The previous wells, Glencoe-1 and Briseis-1, hit net gas pay of 28 metres and 46 metres, respectively. The fourth well, Warrior-1, is 27 kilometres away from Nimblefoot-1.
