According to the Socar official, Nobel Oil already has drilling equipment in Azerbaijan, with which it will help to spud the first well later this year as planned.
Nobel has been set up primarily as an oil services player carrying out engineering, drilling and workover activities among other jobs. It is registered in the UK but is staffed mainly by Azeris.
