Noble Energy's flagship Leviathan gas field development off Israel is more than 80% complete, with first production expected by the end of this year.
The US independent has already secured offtake agreements for most of the project's gas from customers in Israel, Egypt and Jordan.
The next step for Leviathan is to load and ship the platform topsides, which is expected to take place by the end of the second quarter.
