The struggling UK oil and gas industry must adjust to operating in a world of $60 oil to be sustainable, business leaders have been told.
Deirdre Michie, the new chief executive of Oil & Gas UK, issued the warning at the opening of the industry association’s annual conference in Aberdeen this week, which also heard from Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and UK Oil & Gas Authority chief executive Andy Samuel.
