Spirit Energy has spudded the Andromeda North exploration well in the UK southern North Sea in the same week that its biggest shareholder, UK utility Centrica, confirmed it is looking to sell its interest, writes Rob Watts.
Andromeda North is located in Block 42/12, where operator Spirit holds a 55% working interest and Hague & London Oil (HALO) holds the remaining 45%.
