Northern Territory government to take its time over decision on whether to lift hydraulic fracturing ban

An independent panel set up to investigate hydraulic fracturing by Australia's Northern Territory handed over its final report after a 15-month inquiry, but the government is not planning to lift its ban quickly on the practice, writes Josh Lewis.

Justice Rachel Pepper, chair of the inquiry established by the Northern Territory government more than a year ago, handed down the final report this week.
