The Northern Territory state government in Australia has released an implementation plan that will enable the resumption of its shale gas exploration sector.
The territory government lifted a moratorium on hydraulic fracturing earlier this year following a fracking inquiry that made 135 recommendations.
The state government has accepted that 47 of the 135 recommendations must be brought into effect before exploration activity can resume, said the upstream association APPEA.
