Norway has decided to postpone an investment decision for a full-scale carbon capture and storage (CCS) chain by as much as two years to get a better idea of the costs and challenges of the project.
At the same time, the government has reduced the number of industrial sites considered for carbon capture from three to two, and allocated more money for front-end engineering and design studies.
