Norwegian engineering contractors Aker Solutions and Kvaerner expect opportunities to climb in the year ahead as oil and gas companies move more projects from the planning to the execution phase.
"In 2018, we saw a record number of studies and front-end engineering work for larger and more complex projects than previous years — a positive sign of more work to come," Aker Solutions’ chief executive Luis Araujo said as he presented the company’s fourth-quarter results last week.
