Oilfield services giant National Oilwell Varco has completed the acquisition of Dutch offshore engineering firm GustoMSC.
NOV did not reveal financial terms of the transaction, which Upstream reported late last week and was confirmed by a company spokesman this week.
The deal brings the venerable design house into the Houston-based company’s Rig Technologies business segment.
The spokesman said the deal helps augment NOV’s marine construction portfolio.
