Russia's Novatek was holding one-on-one meetings with Chinese fabrication yards this week as part of a last round of clarification talks before prices are submitted for contracts to fabricate modules for Arctic LNG 2, the operator's second liquefied natural gas project in West Siberia.
Industry officials said the contractors in talks include Offshore Oil Engineering Company (COOEC), Bomesc Offshore Engineering, Penglai Jutal Offshore Engineering, Wison Offshore Engineering, China Petroleum Offshore Engineering (CPOE), Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry, Qingdao McDermott Wuchuan Offshore Engineering and, possibly, CIMC Raffles.
