The rig is currently on the Ntorya-1 well pad and will mobilise to the Ntorya-2 pad, 1.5 kilometres away, ready to spud the well next quarter.
The contract covers one firm well with an option for a second well, Ntorya-3.
Located in the Ruvuma Production Sharing Agreement, Ntorya-1 flowed at 20 million cubic feet per day of gas and 139 barrels per day of condensate during tests.
