According to co-venturer New Zealand Oil&Gas (NZOG), commercial start-up has also been pushed back slightly into the third quarter of 2009 due to harsh winter weather, equipment delays and quality issues with some of the received goods.
"While this is unfortunate, it has to be seen in context a small delay for a billion-dollar project that will be producing oil and gas for the next 25 years," said NZOG.
