The five-year charter deals are with an“offshore oil and gas”company for Oceanteam's North Ocean 102 and North Ocean 105 cable installation vessels.
North Ocean 102 is set to start work for its new client in June next year upon redelivery of the vessel following completion of an existing contract with ABB.
The North Ocean 105, which Oceanteam has an option to build at Metalships yard in Vigo, Spain, is due to be available at the end of 2011, though this deal depends on finance being secured.
