A qualified welding engineer, the new chief executive of Offshore Innovation Management (OIM) has moved around various positions in Dubai, the Middle East, US and Far East over the past 22 years for players including Ocean Rig, McDermott, Aker Floating Production and Bibby Offshore.
The idea to set up a new accommodation and construction support rig specialist came following a conversation with an ex-colleague, then at ConocoPhillips, more than two years ago.
