The company will provide onshore exploration and horizontal drilling services at the South African operator’s Temane and Pande gas complex.
Work will be carried out by Ogec’s K900 rig, which is currently being mobilised to its location in Inhambale province via the port of Beira.
Operations are due to start in October.
Ogec’s contract runs for one year with a one-year option and comes on top of work the company is alread doing for Tullow Oil in Uganda where three of its rigs are currently operating.
