ExxonMobil will not be selling off Nigerian assets any time soon as was suggested locally two weeks ago, according to Richard Laing, the supermajor’s production manager for Nigeria, writes Barry Morgan.
Laing reportedly made this clear to Minister of State for Petroleum Resources Ibe Kachikwu during a visit to ExxonMobil’s Erha floating production, storage and offloading vessel in OML 133.
