Colombia’s Cano Limon-Covenas pipeline was attacked twice last week, causing oil spills in the northern part of the country.
An attack reported on 15 March in the department of North Santander ruptured the pipeline causing crude oil to spill into the Catatumbo River.
An attack in the department of Arauca only two days before that incident had caused an oil spill spanning 1250 square metres.
