“We are now in negotiations with Occidental to buy their assets here in the sultanate,” Isam al-Zadjali, chief executive of Oman Oil Company, told reporters in Muscat, adding that his company was waiting to see what was on offer from Oxy.
“Now we are waiting for them to specify what exactly do they want from this deal. We are ready to buy the assets.”
