New York-listed contractor Schlumberger has submitted the sole bid to India’s Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) after the state-owned player invited international service companies to help boost production from two domestic mature onshore oilfields, writes Amanda Battersby.
ONGC is understood to have shortlisted Schlumberger, GE-controlled Baker Hughes and Halliburton as potential partners for the Geleki field onshore Assam and the Kalol field in the state of Gujarat.
