Russia's Gazprom has acknowledged a delay in construction of a liquefied natural gas regasification facility in the Kaliningrad region, but hopes for some progress before the end of this year, writes Vladimir Afanasiev.
Gazprom deputy executive chairman Vitaly Markelov said last week that both the delivery of the Marshall Vasilevsky floating storage and regasification unit, as well as construction of supporting onshore infrastructure and connecting pipelines are running at least one year behind the original schedule.
