India’s state-controlled Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has made initial enquiries for the next big floating, production, storage and offloading vessel required for its NB Prasad shallow-water field, off the country’s west coast.
Project observers told Upstream that ONGC had recently sought budgetary quotes from leading contractors to charter an FPSO vessel for a 10-year period, potentially replacing an existing FPSO on the field.
