A consortium of India’s Afcons and Malaysia’s Sapura Energy is in pole position to supply India’s state-controlled Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) with a large central processing platform for the KG-DWN-98/2 deep-water project off the country's east coast.
Project observers told Upstream that the Afcons-Sapura grouping emerged as the lowest bidder when prices were opened by the ONGC on 31 August.
