India’s state-owned Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has launched multiple tenders this month to acquire more than 5500 square kilometres of 3D offshore seismic.
Sources said three tenders have been floated, with bids likely to be submitted next month.
“Technical and price bids should be submitted in August. We do not think ONGC would delay the seismic tenders as it wants to start acquiring 3D data after this year’s monsoon season,” one source said.
