India’s state-owned Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has called for a high-level investigation into a helicopter crash that is believed to have killed five of its company executives on board.
The two pilots on board the ill-fated Dauphin N3 helicopter operated by Pawan Hans also both perished in the crash on the morning of 13 January. Six bodies had been confirmed as recovered from the Arabian Sea off India’s west coast as Upstream went to press.
