INDIA’S state-controlled Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) has started the chase for a floating production, storage and offloading vessel or mobile offshore production unit for the fast-track development of its marginal Ratna oilfield off the country’s west coast.
Industry sources said ONGC has recently invited expressions of interest from FPSO and MOPU contractors for a three-year charter.
The company requires the unit to process well fluids and carry out water treatment and injection at its R-12 wellhead platform at the Ratna field.
