Norwegian operator Equinor is in hot water with the country’s offshore watchdog over safety issues at the Snorre B platform, the Aasgard B platform and the under-development Martin Linge facility, write Beate Schjolberg and Steve Marshall.
At Snorre, Equinor is being called to account by the Petroleum Safety Authority (PSA) for an incident in which a riser plunged to the seabed after becoming disconnected from the North Sea platform.
