OPINION: International Energy Agency (IEA) executive director Fatih Birol had an enviable job this week — tickling the tummy of the US oil industry – in Houston.
Birol came to CERAweek armed with the IEA’s latest annual report on oil, which said, in effect, that America is great again.
The US can be expected to be exporting 9 million barrels per day of oil and refined products by 2024, according to the IEA.
