Training and standards organisation Opito is hoping to attract more females into the industry after hosting a two-day event for girls and young women in the UK oil capital of Aberdeen this week.
The body’s Oil & Gas Technical Apprentice Programme (OGTAP) held the Girls in OGTAP evening event on Wednesday and Thursday at North East Scotland College (NESCOL), with attendees getting the chance to network and meet with women already working in the sector.
