Oranje-Nassau Energie (ONE) is poring over the results of a closely watched well on the Tanzanite prospect off the Netherlands following the completion of drilling about a month ago.
Unconfirmed industry rumours have been circulating in recent weeks that the drilling has encountered gas but the operator has so far remained tight lipped about the results.
A spokesman told Upstream that the final analysis of the data from the exploration well is still taking place and the company "will inform their stakeholders proactively of any results”.
