UGANDA has finalised protracted negotiations for two new production sharing contracts following a limited licensing round to allocate vacant and relinquished Albertine Graben acreage that launched in 2015.
The signing of the Ngassa licence with Nigerian independent Oranto Petroleum and the Kanywataba block in Turacco with Brisbane-based Armour Energy brings to 12 the number of active licences in Uganda, said Energy Minister Irene Muloni.
