Australian company Origin Energy has unveiled details of a planned multi-well offshore drilling programme at its Otway Gas Project in south-east Australia as a precursor to developing two satellite discoveries, writes Russell Searancke.
Origin agreed several months ago to hire Diamond Offshore’s semi-submersible drilling rig Ocean Monarch for four wells starting next November, but at the time was not ready to divulge where the rig would be drilling.
