Orion International Drilling Services, based in Dubai and registered in the Seychelles, signed a speculative order late last week for two enhanced Friede&Goldman Super M2 design jack-ups, for a contract price of $157.8 million per rig. The 300-foot jack-ups are due for delivery from MIS' Sharjah yard in the third quarter of 2009 and the first quarter of 2010 respectively.
