Japan's Osaka Gas has acquired full control of Sabine Oil & Gas, a US shale producer active in the Haynesville play in Texas.
Sabine holds acreage producing from the Haynesville and also the Cotton Valley formation in east Texas.
Osaka said the acreage covers 175,000 net acreas with 1200 wells and has production of about 210 million cubic feet per day.
