An NPD official confirmed that the outcome could have an impact on the Troll Future Development project, a billion-dollar scheme being pursued by the two Norwegian operators and the rest of the Troll partnership.
The Gjoa, Camilla, Belinda, Fram B and Astero discoveries, north of Troll, are all on the table. The projects do not have entirely parallel development schedules but the discrepancies are not great, so the authorities are determined to see all development combinations evaluated.
