OCCIDENTAL Petroleum has floated at least two key tenders involving the fifth development phase of its Idd Al Shargi North Dome (ISND) oil development off Qatar.
Industry sources claimed that leading offshore players have been issued tender documents by Oxy and that technical offers are expected to be submitted later this month.
The ISND-5 development project was recently revived by the US operator and its state-owned partner Qatar Petroleum after being delayed by more than two years due to sustained lower oil prices.
